Born from the will to pool resources, the SI2C2, has the mission to manage the Information System of the four laboratories IRIM, CRBMM, IGMM, CEMIPAI hosting around 500 staff including researcher, PhD students, post-doc, engineers, techniciens and administrative staff.

The missions of the IT department are  :

• The definition and development of the security policy
• The implementation and the administration of the computing means specific to the CRBM, IGMM, IRIM, CEMIPAI:
  • Mail servers, dns, web, webmail, file servers
  • Network infrastructures
  • Printing
  • Backups
  • Databases
  • Workstations
  • Data processing servers
• The implementation and administration of the computing resources of the platforms hosted in the three laboratories.
• The service to the users of the three laboratories and the platforms attached to them
• The choice of hardware and software
