Cell festival, deliciously alive!
A journey into microscopy for the 60th anniversary of the CRBM
The Montpellier Cell Biology Research Center (CRBM) is celebrating its 60th anniversary and invites you to a unique event:
the “Cell Festival, deliciously alive!”, on October 8th, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM at Halle Tropisme.
Designed as a true immersion into the heart of life, this festival invites young and old to discover the cell. Throughout the day, the public can participate in interactive workshops, explore exhibitions, enjoy fun experiments, and interact directly with scientists. A rare opportunity to understand the fundamental microscopic mechanisms of life while having fun.
For 60 years, the CRBM has established itself as a major player in cell biology research. Based in Montpellier, the center contributes to leading scientific advances, particularly in the fields of health and life sciences. This internationally recognized expertise is now being showcased through an event accessible to everyone.
Open to families, school groups, and all those curious about science, the Cell Festival aims to make science vibrant, accessible, and inspiring. By celebrating this anniversary, the CRBM also hopes to strengthen the link between research and society and spark interest in science among young people.
